| Without additions, the BIOBASICS™ insoles have a comfortable medial longitudinal arch support to reduce excessive pronation, a metatarsal dome to redistribute pressure away from the forefoot, and a deep heel cup to stabilize the heel in the shoe. But, if a patient requires . . . |
| . . . a heel lift, perhaps for Achilles tendonitis; limited ankle joint dorsiflexion; or to balance a forefoot equinus, simply add the self-adhesive 5mm heel lifts to the BIOBASICS™ insoles in seconds. |
| . . . a first metatarsal head cut out for lesions PMTPJ 1; "sesamoiditis"; or to manage a functional hallux limitus, easily remove the EVA plug from the first metatarsal head cut out and add a forefoot valgus wedge to redistribute pressure away from the medial forefoot. |
